Vanitas: Contemporary Florals

A well-known still life tradition of the 17th-century Dutch masters, vanitas uses symbolism as reminders of death’s inevitability. In contrast, the artists of “Vanitas: Contemporary Florals” reinvent this tradition through an optimistic lens, allowing the beauty of a blossom and the hope of Spring’s rebirth to act as symbols of life’s resilience. We invite you to join us as we celebrate this promise of new life.
