Water, by Curtis Crain

Recent paintings inspired by my love of water. I feel gifted and blessed to have been born on the shores of Lake Michigan. I loosely paint what I see with liberties taken on detail and color. I try not to over complicate – my work is always striving to say more with less. (Curtis is represented by Edgewood Orchard Gallery.) Please stop in to view the beautiful artwork and enjoy appetizers and beverages!

The exhibition, called “I’m Looking Through You,” by Delafield, Wisconsin artist Karon Bloo Marine shows works in acrylics and oils, and also transformed objects. Marine paints in the “outsider” tradition. This is her first solo show. The Complexity of Nature
by Ian Baker Johnson

My paintings abstractly record memories and feelings of some aspect of nature – the sky, a body of water, leaves blowing in the wind. Nature isn’t just “out there,” however, it is also within us. We are as much a part of nature as anything we experience outdoors. Our world on the outside as well as on the inside is complex, beautiful, and filled with energy. This energy gives and receives. It pushes forward and pulls back. It’s soft yet powerful. I try to capture that.
