House of RAD Gallery Presents: The Nostalgia Rebellion & Time’s Forgotten Garden

Time’s Forgotten Garden features work from David Jones and Marilyn Propp. After 52 years together, they have always responded to each other’s work, with its variations of process, the use of intuitive automatic writing, and its celebration of line, contrast, and lyricism. The Nostalgia Rebellion, with works by Brian Hibbard and Hugo Pink, use nostalgia as a form of quiet rebellion: embracing the imperfect, reusing and recycling items from our lives, collecting and appreciating objects from a life where time was taken. Artist talks will be Saturday, Jan. 17 at 1 p.m. First-floor studios will be open on Friday night.

From Sculpture MKE exhibits and Brighten the Passage murals to sculptures, street art, historic figures and more, you can take a walk, catch a ride on The Hop, or grab a Bublr bike or scooter to take in more than 140 public artworks in the 414.
